Conventional events: Standard dances: Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow foxtrot, Quick step Latin dances: Samba, Cha-cha-cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive
Freestyle events (to be officially approved by IPC WDS):
a) One person or Combi couple on the dance floor presents their program with any music of their choice. b) It is allowed to use one piece of music, different types of music or mixed music. c) Music should meet a specific length: • The duration of the free dance presentation for singles limits: 2’ – 2’30” • The duration of the free dance presentation for combi limits: 3’30” – 4’
5. Competition duration:
The competition duration is 3 days plus 1 additional day for International Classification prior to the start of the competition and on the first day of the competition.
6. International Classification:
International Classification will be conducted on September 12th-13th, 2014. Detailed classification schedule will follow after the revision of the final entries by IPC WDS Office. All athletes that will be classified must have arrived on time prior the classification process start and have with them the IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport Medical information form (available on the IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport website www.ipc–wheelchairdancesport.org on the downloads and forms section).
7. Final Entry Deadline: August 15th, 2014 8. Liability: Insurance - Each National Federation and/or National Paralympic Committee is responsible for the appropriate insurance for accidents, health, property and liability of their team. 9. Eligibility:
Dance couple must consist of a male and a female partner. All wheelchair users must fulfil minimum disability criteria. Couples entries must be submitted by their National Paralympic Committees or authorized Federation by the NPC.
10. Results:
Only results from athletes who have been licensed by IPC WDS (including partners) will be taken in consideration for inclusion in the results and ranking list of the events Combi Standard and Latin in Classes 1 and 2, Duo Standard and Latin in Classes 1 and 2, Single Men and Ladies in Classes 1 and 2, Combi Freestyles in Classes 1 and 2 and Single Freestyles Men and Ladies in Classes 1 and 2. 11. Ranking:
The minimum number of participating countries per event must be 3 for Combi Standard and Latin in Classes 1 and 2, Duo Standard and Latin in Classes 1 and 2, Single Men and Ladies in Classes 1 and 2, Combi Freestyles in Classes 1 and 2 and Single Freestyles Men and Ladies in Classes 1 and 2. In the case lower number than 3 the couples and single athletes can participate but no ranking points will be considered for this IPC WDS World Ranking List.
12. Entries and Registration Process:
All entered athletes in the International competition (approved by IPC WDS) must be registered by IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport by the final entries deadlines. Athletes’ entries not meeting this criterion may be rejected by IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport.
All athletes must be entered by their respective NPCs or authorised organizations by the NPC and accepted by IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport.
Couples and Single Athletes must sign the “Amateur Declaration Statement” in the competition entry form.
For IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport approved international competitions there is no limit in the number of couples per NPC per event per class.
Late entries: IPC WDS Office must be informed about every late entry. All respective information must be reviewed on the ‘case by case’ basis and the entry may be accepted/rejected by the IPC WDS Office.
Replacements: IPC WDS Office must be informed about every replacement. Replacements of athletes may be accepted due to injury or medical reasons. All respective medical information regarding the athlete who is to be replaced must be sent to IPC WDS Office by the respective NPC for further consideration regarding its acceptance/rejection.
All the registration process for the competition is as follows:
August 15th, 2014: deadline for Final Entry by Name, and provisions of details per persons and photographs for accreditation. Deadline to pay the full registration Attention: deadline for Visas requirements: August 1st, 2014

13. Entry Fee: All delegates: 1500 Russian rubles (about 30 euros) per person (athletes, trainers, attants, etc.) and including transportation in Moscow (arrivals – venue – departures). In case of other accommodation the Fee could be different.
14. Rules and Regulations:
The competition will be conducted under the IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport Rules and Regulations and IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport Classification Rules and Regulations.

16. Transport: Organizers cover transportation for all official delegations: arrivals and departures according to the Additional Forms with flight/train schedules. The offer is valid only in case of the accommodation in the official hotel of the 2014 Continents Cup as well as Additional Form sent in time. (see Additional Form attachment)
17. Entry Forms:
The Entry Forms for individuals are sent together with this Information Package.
18. Visas: For those countries that require entry visas to Russia, please s scan copies of the passports of all members of the delegation, as well as the form with all the corresponding data in Excel (form attached) to the LOC. Subsequently, apply for visa at the corresponding Embassy/Consulate of Russia in your country. 19. Doping Doping is forbidden in accordance with the IPC Anti-Doping Code.
